Hello Peacham Families!

Thank you for your interest in Peacham Farmers Market! This is the place where Peacham students can sign up to participate in our market.

Please click here to access the calendar and sign up for your shift.

Here are some things you need to know before signing up...

  • It is important to fill out the form completely including your name, your grown up's name, a phone number, and what you will be selling. If for some reason the market board doesn't think your items would really work at the market, don't worry! We'll offer some suggestions of alternate items so you will still have the chance to participate.

  • We will provide you with a table, two chairs and a canopy. You will need to bring anything you want to sell, a cash box with change and a positive, friendly attitude!  Be creative and have fun with this! Come up with cool ways to display your items and be sure the customers know how much each item costs.

  • You DO NOT have to come to every market, just the shifts you sign up for. That being said, please treat this like a job and be sure to show up on time ready to set up at least a half an hour before your shift. If you can't make it for whatever reason, just send me a message to let me know.

  • The market hosts several other vendors who are there to earn money and have a good time just like you.  Please be respectful of everyone's space and lend a hand to your neighboring vendor if it looks like they could use it.

  • Each vendor pays Peacham Farmers Market 5% of their total daily earnings at the end of the market. This money goes right back into the market and helps pay to keep it running week after week, season after season. For Peacham Student vendors, I would like to give you the opportunity to choose a Peacham organization that is important to you and rather than paying the Farmers Market, your 5% will be donated to whatever organization you choose. For example: our school's PTF (they pay for your skiing, swimming, and tons of other fun stuff throughout the year), Peacham Library, one of our two churches, etc.

  • Shifts are set up in 90 minute blocks. You can sign up for just one 90 minute shift or decide to stay the whole market (two shifts on the same day). Let's give everyone who wants to participate a chance to sign up before you book more than two slots for yourself.  Check back later in the season to see what's still open.

  • I would love to see some collaboration! Talk with your friends and see if maybe they'd be interested in teaming up for a shift or two.  It would be fun to work together!

  • This is open to all Peacham Students who want to participate. It's a good idea if the little ones have a parent on site to help if needed. For the older students, I ask parents to use their best judgement on how much presence they want to have.  If they feel their kid is mature enough to manage on their own, I encourage it! I'm hoping that this will provide our children the opportunity to learn skills about accountability, responsibility, business courtesies, money/time management, and the value of good ol' hard work.

I am grateful for this community down to the very smallest Peachamite and I look forward to seeing all of you at our market!

If you have any questions or troubles filling in your spot, send me a message and I'll help you out.

HOORAY SUMMER!! :) Rachael :)
